My remix for Intronaut's "Valley of Smoke" contest finished 2nd, that was a close call.
I think I didn't win because I only used some of the supplied guitar and drum samples of the original song, made an unrecognizable arrangement compared to the original *and* last but certainly not least: they were obliged to release the winning entry on Century Media Records. With my version, that would be a pain in the ass for a typical Metal label.
Or .. it just wasn't good enough in the end, I think I'll stick to that option for now. :-)

Totally unexpected: my entry ended 2nd in the Nick Carter remix contest. Who would've thought that, since all I did was fiddling around on the piano for just two nights?
Update: the remix will be included on the official release of Nick's album 'I’m Taking Off: Relaunched & Remixed' on November 15th 2011.

My remix for the Alicia Keys - Butterflyz contest managed to get an 11th position out of 237 contestants, thanks to internet votes. Unfortunately Alicia didn't pick my entry as definitive winner or runner-up, better luck next time.

I joined a remix-contest on Radio 538 for David Guetta's single 'Delirious'. There were 430 contestants, I ended up as one of the five finalists who were judged by David himself at Miami, no luck though ... you can find my entry in the
